This song is about navigating consent as a sex worker.
Its about creating media that doesn't end with sex workers dying.
This song is about imagining what it looks like to fight back and is dedicated to all the sex workers who couldn't fight back and all the ones who have.

This song is about my own experiences but it is not happening in a vacuum.
While all sex workers in the US are at threat of harm more than most other jobs, violence from clients and the state is disproportionately experienced by trans sex workers of color.

Stopping violence against sex workers means prioritizing the most marginalized of us and also centering their voices in all of these efforts.
